Ponsel C4E Conductivity digital sensor

The electrode works with a technology in 4 electrodes: an alternating current of constant-voltage is
established between a primary’s pair of electrodes in graphite. The secondary’s electrodes in platinum allow
of regulate the voltage imposed to primary’s electrodes to reflect of the fouling. The voltage measured
between the primary’s electrodes is in function of the resistance of place and so, of the conductivity.

Ponsel PHEHT pH digital sensor with cartridge

The PHEH digital pH, ORP and temperature sensor has been designed to perform under the harshest of conditions from pure mountains water with conductivity as low as 20 μS/cm, lakes and rivers (100 – 2000 μS/cm), seawater with conductivities of 50 mS/cm to wastewater with conductivity higher than 200 mS/cm. The PHEH sensor features a “long life” reference. The Plastogel® PONSEL technology. This increases the lifetime of the probe, along with the need to refill. The probe has been designed to operate with the Odeon handheld, as well as in situ applications which have typically been the most difficult situations for a pH/ORP sensor in terms of the sensors resistance, response time, minimal flow dependence and low power consumption.

Ponsel NTU Turbidity digital sensor

The NTU turbidity sensor is based on IR nephelometry technology (850nm). The NTU can be easily calibrated using a formazin turbidity standard, the sensor is auto ranging and can offer measurements up to 4000 NTU. The sensor incorporates a low cost optical technology which requires low maintenance and requires no consumables.

Ponsel OPTOD Oxygen Optical digital sensor bare wire

The OPTOD (Optical Dissolved Oxygen technology) sensor is based on luminescent optical technology. The OPTOD is offered with ASTM International Method D888-05 approval. Without regular calibration requirements and ultra-low power technology, the OPTOD sensor meets the demands of field works, and is suited to both short and long term campaigns. Without oxygen consuming oxygen during measurement, the technology allows you an accurate measure in all situation and especially in very low oxygen concentrations.

Ponsel ORP digital sensor bare wire EHAN with cartridge

The PONSEL sensor incorporates a reference electrode, used for ORP measurements, such as Ag /
AgCl in saturated KCl electrolyte plasticized “PLASTOGEL” ®.
The electrolyte “PLASTOGEL” ® communicates directly with the external environment without
interposition of capillary or porous. So there is no risk of clogging or defusing the reference.
The measuring electrode is in platinum (3,5mm2) presented in sealed ring on a glass rod and is for insitu measurements continuously.

Ponsel Hydroclean Anti-fouling system

The HYDROCLEAN-_P is a mechanical wiper system designed to fit easily to the numerical sensor of Turbidity NTU & Oxygen OPTOD.
Using a regular gentle brushing action, the HYDROCLEAN_P keeps the optical window of the instrument clean from bio-fouling and other unwanted deposits such as mud. Two versions of the Hydroclean_P are available. A battery powered with 2 x lithium batteries (offering 4 months life on a 120 minute brush frequency) and externally powered version which can accept a supply of 5-24vdc offering great flexibility across a variety of applications.

A ring-type coil is excited at fixed intervals and the response is retrieved on a second coil, which is linked to the excited coil. The connectivity between the coils (determined by the degree of conductivity) takes place via the conducting solution.

Ponsel VB5 Sludge blanket digital sensor bare wire

The principle of measure is based on the mitigation of the Infra-Red signal in 870 nm through an optical path of 5mm. The sensor delivers measures in Suspended Solid (g/l), Turbidity (FAU) and Sludge Blanket detection in % of transmission IR. For a better precision, the optics of the sensor are regulated in temperature. For a measure of Suspended Solid, the sensor is directly calibrated on the material to be measured (sample of
sludge).
